NATIONAL VETERANS SMALL BUSINESS WEEK | NOVEMBER 9–13, 2026
WHEREAS, Idaho’s veterans, transitioning service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses contribute leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial experience to our communities; and
WHEREAS, veteran-owned and military spouse-owned small businesses support employment, economic vitality, and local commerce in urban and rural Idaho; and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Small Business Administration recognizes November 9–13, 2026, as National Veterans Small Business Week under the theme “Honoring Veteran-Owned, American Made”; and
WHEREAS, business development partners across Idaho connect entrepreneurs with training, financing, workforce, mentoring, and government contracting resources; and
WHEREAS, Idahoans are encouraged to recognize the contributions of veteran entrepreneurs and support the small businesses they lead;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BRAD LITTLE, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim November 9–13, 2026, to be NATIONAL VETERANS SMALL BUSINESS WEEK in Idaho, and encourage all Idahoans to celebrate and support veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs.
