Day 1: Laying the Foundation

Morning

  • Welcome & Orientation (9:00–9:30 AM): Kick off with goals, introductions, and networking icebreaker.

  • Keynote Speaker (9:30–10:30 AM): Hear from a successful veteran-owned farm or ranch business.

  • Session 1 – Branding Essentials (10:45 AM–12:15 PM): Build your brand identity and define your unique value proposition.

Afternoon

  • Lunch & Networking (12:15–1:15 PM): Featuring local farm-to-table cuisine.

  • Session 2 – Storytelling for Impact (1:15–2:45 PM): Create a compelling origin story and use storytelling in your marketing.

  • Session 3 – Marketing Basics for Farms (3:00–4:30 PM): Identify your target audience and explore marketing channels.

Evening

  • Farm-to-Fork Mixer (5:30–7:00 PM): Connect with local food and farm businesses.

Day 2: Digging into Marketing Strategies

Morning

  • Session 4 – Social Media Mastery (9:00–10:30 AM): Learn which platforms fit your business and how to create engaging content.

  • Session 5 – Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (10:45–12:15 PM): Build your website, set up an online store, and master email marketing.

Afternoon

  • Lunch & Market Showcase (12:15–1:15 PM): Highlighting participant products.

  • Session 6 – Partnerships & Collaboration (1:15–2:45 PM): Learn to partner with local restaurants, retailers, and co-marketing allies.

  • Session 7 – Funding & Financial Strategies (3:00–4:30 PM): Explore grants, loans, crowdfunding, and marketing budgets.

Evening

  • Participants begin drafting a simple marketing plan with cost and execution strategy.

Day 3: Bringing It All Together (Half-Day)

Morning

  • Session 8 – Marketing Plan Presentations (9:00–11:00 AM): Share your plan and receive feedback.

  • Feedback & Next Steps (11:15–11:45 AM): Set personalized marketing goals.

  • Closing Remarks (11:45 AM–12:00 PM)
